Nanotechnology and Some of It Applications
The technology behind the manipulation of matter at a Nano scale is referred to as Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is playing an active role in almost every sector today. This ranges from Information Technology, electronics, medicine, energy, transportation sector and so on. Most of the everyday materials are also made using nanotechnology. With nanotechnology, we now have displays with Ultra-High Definition properties. The main benefit of using these UHD displays is that you can view images or videos with more vibrant colors. These displays also tend to be energy efficient compared to other types.

In the medical and healthcare field, the knowledge of nanotechnology has contributed to better solutions for different medical processes. In this field, nanomaterials have been widely used to make medical tools used for medical procedures. A good example, in this case, is the use of nanotech to make imaging tools. There is a prove that equipment and tools made through nanotechnology are more accurate with higher precision. Currently, Research, and Development, R&D is underway to see the application of nanotechnology in vaccines. This could see vaccine delivery without the need for using the needles.

In the energy sector, nanotechnology is applied to find solutions for alternative energy sources. The call to embrace nanotechnology in this field is as a result of increased demand for energy across the globe. In this field, nanotechnology is widely used to provide solutions for affordable energy and more importantly clean and renewable sources. For example, this technology has contributed significantly to the development of better solar panels as a source of energy. The use of nanotechnology has led to the development of even more efficient solar panels that can tap solar energy more resourcefully. Nanotechnology has also been used in the development of cheaper solar systems solutions that have special features such as flexibility.
